This product is a previously owned vintage steam locomotive bell believed to date to approximately 1921 and attributed to Baldwin Locomotive Works. This bell is very heavy and appears to be cast in brass or bronze and mounted within a heavy cast iron yoke with its original lever mechanism. It features a naturally aged patina developed over decades of use and exposure, while the cast iron yoke retains its original black finish with expected wear consistent with age. This bell would have served as an audible warning device on a steam freight locomotive. It rings beautifully and is in great shape whether it is to be displayed in a railroad collection, incorporated into industrial decor or simply restored as a historic locomotive.
Please note, there is an extensive amount of overall general wear throughout, including some rust, chipping to certain areas and some paint spatter along the yoke (see photos).

- We offer 5 days of storage. You must pick up your item within 5 days of purchase. After 5 days, the item may be resold. If it is resold you may request a 75% refund of the purchase amount per our store policy (a full refund will be honored within 21 days for appliances).
- We have staff available to load items. We strongly encourage you to bring help to load large purchases. Our staff will help as much as they can but will not load large, bulky, and heavy items into inappropriate vehicles.
- Shipping is not available. In-store pickup only.
