Uniting US is a collective group of veterans, family members, and volunteers dedicated to supporting arts engagement activities for active duty military, veterans, their family members, and the communities in which they live. They provide art materials and supplies, mentoring, art exhibit bookings, facilitation of artwork purchases, and therapeutic art wellness activities.

About the artist Kathy Turner: Kathy seeks discarded human refuse that can be transformed and used for the base to create artworks. Many are wood or rusted metal pieces found in the local Pimmit Run creek, thus serving to clean the environment as well as becoming renewed as art. The subject matter is chosen to tell a story and reflect a sense of age and history.
