This 1954 Smith Corona Eighty-Eight 'Secretarial' typewriter has been tested and is in great working condition but could use a good cleanup and a fresh ribbon. It has dark green keys and stylish bumpers on the sides which were only found on models made in 1953 and 1954. The Eighty-Eight model was designed with all-day office typing in mind to enable a typist to work quickly and comfortably. For instance, it has right and left margin settings that are simple buttons on the carriage and a page gauge on the left side of the platen to let you know when you are approaching the end of the paper. The platen is removable for easy cleaning and the typewriter supports two-color ribbons and has an automatic ribbon reversing mechanism. The font is likely Courier.
