This antique Rembrandt bridge lamp has the solid and heavy quality expected of Rembrandt lamps. It is in very good, restorable condition and includes a mid-stem jasper stone element that is in excellent condition and ties the lamp together beautifully. The lamp base is cast iron and has the Rembrandt name and casting number on the bottom. The stem and interstitial elements as well as the stem finial are all cast iron, painted or gilded. The lamp surface has not been cleaned, so it shows its hundred years of life, but it was well cared for. The lamp comes with a vintage frosted glass shade. Please note, there is a small element broken off the back side of the finial (see photos).
This light has been tested by our staff and is in working condition. Community Forklift recommends using LED light bulbs to save energy and produce less heat, which helps to protect vintage fixtures from further aging.
