This stylin' Art Deco clock was made c.1930 by Thomas Ernst Haller AG in Schwenningen, Black Forest, Germany. It is a perfect example of Art Deco design with the round skyscraper feet/columns on the front corners, the stepped building style of the case, stylized silvered numerals on the rosewood face plate, and airstream styled hands. The pendulum is original to the clock and the movement and face frame are both marked with 'Foreign', a requirement instituded by the British Merchandise Marks Act of 1926 for products imported to England from Germany.

Condition: The clock is in good, running condition, but would benefit from a cleaning. The skyscraper feet are chrome over white metal and show signs of decay. The face and hands are in very good condition and show minor tarnishing. The wood is in very good condition showing minimal marks. The bottom hinge for the glass face is loose, but intact and doesn't affect the opening of the clock front. The clock includes a winder key.

We always recommend service by a reputable clock shop to ensure accuracy and longevity.

Dimensions:

8.5" High x 13" Wide x 4.75" Deep
