This is a mid century vintage, classroom sized, pull-down map of the economic geography of countries in Europe. It illustrates the locations of chief agricultural products such as wheat and wine; mineral deposits; natural features like mountain ranges; large cities and industrial areas; and major railroads, pipelines, and inland waterways.

The map was designed by Dr. Fritz Haefke. It is printed in German and published in West Germany after 1953 by Justus Perthes Darmstadt. The map rolls up and down and is mounted to a wooden bracket.

Dimensions:

Printed map: 5 feet 3 inches x 7 feet 9 inches (63" x 93")

Approximate overall dimensions: 6 feet 3 inches High x 7 feet 10 inches Wide (75" x 94")

Bracket is 94" long.
