This is a previously owned Howard Miller clock designed by Arthur Umanoff c. 1980. We believe the clock is from the Natural Classics series by Arthur Umanoff Associates. The clock features a two-spring Hermle 151-030 movement made in West Germany. The chime is an elegant three note chime, once on the half hour, and the number of hours on the hour.
The case is a fantastic joining of solid oak sections into a rounded off interpretation of the classic octagonal schoolhouse clock. The bright white metal face floats inside the oak frame leaving a deep shadow all around with the bright brass pendulum in the space below. Simple and elegant, this clock is based on a classic, but is thoroughly modern and of excellent quality with a strong running movement.
In addition to the time, the clock also features a red day hand that counts off the days of the month.
We always recommend having clocks purchased at Community Forklift serviced to ensure they run correctly and for a long time to come.
