This 22 piece set of Mid Century vintage kitchen cabinets came to Community Forklift from a home built in 1948. Metal kitchen cabinets were considered very modern beginning in the 1930s and were particularly popular after WWII when steel production capacity was high and became more available for the consumer market again.
In lieu of knobs or pulls the upper cabinets have recessed grooves behind flat metal doors with curved bottom edges. The base cabinets have flat, straight chrome bar handles fitted across indentations in the drawer fronts.
Please note, this vintage cabinet set will need restoration and has a substantial amount of rust and chipping of paint throughout (see photos).
The set has many special features including upper cabinets with steel trimmed glass shelves at the sides; a bar inside one upper cabinet with hooks for hanging mugs or teacups; 2 corner upper cabinets; divided utensil drawers; 2 full-length cabinets; a base cabinet with a louvered door and roll-out shelves for root vegetables; and base cabinets containing roll-out shelves, a bread drawer, dividers for baking pans, and handy wire baskets.

- Pick-up will be available during open warehouse hours: Monday – Sunday 12-5 pm.
- We offer 5 days of storage. You must pick up your item within 5 days of purchase. After 5 days, the item may be resold. If it is resold you will be refunded 75% of the purchase amount.
- We have staff available to load items. We strongly encourage you to bring help to load large purchases. Our staff will help as much as they can but will not load large, bulky, and heavy items into inappropriate vehicles.
- Shipping is not available. In-store pickup only.
